Whether an engagement qualifies for any program depends on current program terms and your situation; check with the program and your accountant. Our workshops are not eligible for the Ontario Job Grant, which only funds training from colleges, career colleges and similar accredited providers. AIDA (the Artificial Intelligence and Data Act) is not in force — it lapsed with Bill C-27 at prorogation in January 2025 — and there is no AIDA certification, so we build for readiness, not certification.

  2. The intro call.

    Days 1–3

    30 focused minutes on what you need — consulting, training, or a website. Either of us can say it’s not a fit.

  3. Scope & price.

    By the next morning

    One page: what we’d do, a fixed price, and a calendar. If a funding program may help pay for it, we note that too.

  4. Kickoff.

    Within 2 weeks

    If we’re on, we agree a start date at signing, usually within two weeks.
